This morning I was stomping through the brambles alone, out here in western Maryland, and nearly stepped on this tiny fawn. It let out a loud Maaa! and tottered a few steps away before hiding itself again. Later, back in the same area with my crew, we stumbled across it again. I hope its mama moves it someplace else tonight, because we will be back in the same area tomorrow.

Baby
This morning I was stomping through the brambles alone, out here in western Maryland, and nearly stepped on this tiny fawn. It let out a loud Maaa! and tottered a few steps away before hiding itself again. Later, back in the same area with my crew, we stumbled across it again. I hope its mama moves it someplace else tonight, because we will be back in the same area tomorrow.
This sighting, I envy you.

We did not see it yesterday, so its mama must have found another place to hide it.
