Celtic Silver

A group of Celtic silver objects recently sold by Timeline Auctions. These date mainly to the Roman period, 1st century BCE to 1st century CE, although some might be as old as the 3rd century BCE. Above, bracelet.

Two torcs.

A cleverly made adjustable bracelet.

More bracelets. The prices for these items are in the hundreds of pounds, so they are not beyond the bounds of what one might aspire to own, as long as you don't mind never being 100% sure that your piece is authentic.
