Drunk Prairie Voles Sleep Around

Science:
The prairie vole, a fuzzy rodent known for being monogamous, becomes a cheater under the influence of alcohol, researchers report online this week in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. At least males do. Smithsonian magazine reports that whereas females became cuddly with their companions while under the influence, males shunned their partners and showed an interest in strangers.
Much is explained.
