So much for the modern mentality that all we modern people share.Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08993570411881726772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8304928500646903522.post-37759207974705968832018-05-31T17:34:47.961-04:002018-05-31T17:34:47.961-04:00How does one even parse something like this?
Seri...How does one even parse something like this?

Seriously, I don't even know where to begin. Is this mental illness? Persecution complex? Delusions of grandeur? How do we describe what is wrong with this person? And once we agree on that, what should be done in response to it?

John, you phrase it interestingly: "You may think this is just mad raving..."

How bizarre is it, that we would find it to be a comfort if this was JUST mad raving? How terrifying is it that we live in a society where unhinged people can go around raving madly, and we have no response to their insanity? That we don't even begin to worry about these things unless we find out they're happening "all over the internet and apparently someone is making a full-length documentary about it"? And even then, we still don't take any sort of real action?

Shouldn't people who exhibit mad ravings provoke some sort of serious response from society and the government? We let these people vote. We let them own guns, for goodness' sake. Lunatics who claim god spoke to them in a dream and rant about being victimized by a nameless "enemy" and "evil" are allowed to freely own and carry deadly weapons, and to help decide the fate of the nation.

Who is crazier? The mad raver, or the person who ignores the mad raver? Are we really okay with this? Because I'm not.G. Or did God leave a couple of tablets behind? Or email Mark, maybe? Or did Mark have the presence or mind to turn his phone recorder on? If so, I want to hear the Voice of God.Shadowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05353532874773316117noreply@blogger.com
