If I visited a little old grandma's home and saw them on a mantlepiece or a coffee table, I'd likely find them charming.<br /><br />But in the context of high-brow art? It smacks of arrogant pretension. This is pleasant hobbywork, even a medium for meditation, but it's not grand artistry, though clearly multiple people are invested in trying to pass it off as such.G.
